May 7, 2019 – Saint Petersburg, Russia: Brookes Education Group (BEG), successfully opened a new Branch School in Russia, Brookes Saint Petersburg. As part of the group’s global expansion, Brookes Saint Petersburg is the second campus to open in Russia this year, following on from Brookes Moscow which successfully opened its doors to 200 students in August 2018.

The Brookes network of schools proudly offers the world-renowned International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum to students from ages 4-18.

From September 2019, Brookes Saint Petersburg will reignite the educational market in Saint Petersburg by offering the IB as an IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP) Candidate School; leading to the Diploma Programme (DP) in the future.

Brookes Saint Petersburg is home to a culturally-rich and international community including diplomatic and expatriate families as well as local Russian families. Brookes also welcomes highly qualified teachers from around the world who offer a range of disciplines.

Brookes Education Group has appointed Principal, Ms. Laura Rennard, who will lead the Saint Petersburg campus from August 2019.

The School’s campus is located in the historic centre of Saint Petersburg amongst the cultural wonders of the city. Russia’s second city, founded in 1703, Saint Petersburg is home to two hundred museums, fifty theatres and the splendours of ballet and opera, which are embroidered into the city’s cultural heritage.

The campus is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including spacious classrooms, music studios, science labs and specialist teaching environments which optimize learning with integrated technology.

Educational opportunities extend beyond the classroom. Brookes Saint Petersburg will work collaboratively with Brookes Moscow offering world-class international education to both local and expatriate families for children from Reception to Year 13.
