DP1 students had an enriching experience at Kodaikanal International School on November 4th and 5th as they actively participated in COLLOQUE FRANÇAIS. The event was themed on France – the language, food, entertainment, relationships, and the environment. Students were able to showcase their language skills in real-life situations, which helped them extend their vocabulary and build critical thinking skills. Our young Gryphons secured 1st place in the “ab initio” category for Pictionary and achieved 3rd place in the cooking competition, demonstrating their linguistic and culinary talents.
Human libraries-Readers of the Human Library, our PYP students and the human book were grandparents!
Human libraries, a novel concept, offers a venue for substantive dialogue, knowledge sharing, and the cultivation of critical thinking abilities.
Readers of the Human Library, our PYP students, will have the chance to learn from a human book— a grandparent—about their life narrative, and then engage in a conversation, thus benefiting immensely from this great opportunity.
